When the site was deleted by my host, I had to completely reconstruct the site from scratch using web cached content. However, when I completed the press section I thought I’d gotten everything up. I hadn’t. Here is the updated reupload. Sorry for the mistake.

In a recent article, Temuera’s THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT co-star has offered her feelings on how Boba should be if the show should get a season two. I have to say while I loved what Tem brought to Boba in both his own show and THE MANDALORIAN, I have to agree about Boba’s character going forwrad. Feel free to read on for what Ming Na had to say.

Boba Fett Should Be More Like The Original Trilogy Version In The Future, Says Star

When asked about a potential Book of Boba Fett season 2, Ming-Na Wen stated the titular character should be more like his original trilogy depiction.

Co-star of The Book of Boba Fett Ming-Na Wen has stated that she thinks Boba should be closer to how he was depicted in the original trilogy in Star Wars‘ future. While no second season of The Book of Boba Fett has been confirmed, the expansion of the New Republic Era under the eyes of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau means that the notorious bounty hunter-turned-Daimyo has a high chance of appearing again in the future. With The Book of Boba Fett taking the character in a new, honor-based direction, many have wished for a return to the brutal ways of Boba during the original trilogy.

This is a sentiment shared by Ming-Na Wen, who played Fennec Shand in The Book of Boba Fett alongside Temuera Morrison. In an interview with Collider, Wen was asked her thoughts on where she would like to see the characters and story go, should The Book of Boba Fett season 2 be made:

“You know, he’s this Lord now of Tatooine, and he is managing to have some control, but he was trying to do it one way, and I’m not sure how effective it was. He was trying to have a greater honor system, and I would love to see that he turns back to a bit more like what Boba Fett was in also being able to maintain justice, or accomplish what he needs to accomplish on Tatooine.”

As alluded to by Wen, the point of The Book of Boba Fett season 1 was to establish Boba as the Daimyo of Mos Espa. Through this, the complications with Fett’s honor system arose, with Wen rightly noting the fact that this caused problems for him and Fennec that the original trilogy era Boba may not have faced due to his more uncompromising nature.

Can Boba Fett Return To His Roots in A Second Season?

Despite Wen’s wishes, it may be impossible for Boba Fett to fully return to his roots in future Star Wars> stories. One of the best aspects of Boba Fett was his journey with the Tusken Raiders. It was through living among the Tuskens that Fett learned to appreciate having a tribe, somewhere he could belong. Fett then attempted to implement this way of living in Mos Espa, making him a much less bloodthirsty and more honorable character than he was in the original trilogy.

As a result, reverting Boba to how he used to be risks negating the arc he went through in The Book of Boba Fett season 1. That being said, the introduction of other villains for Boba could certainly allow audiences – and Ming-Na Wen, for that matter – to see more of the Boba Fett that was shown in the original trilogy. Through his enemies, Boba could channel the ruthless bounty hunter he used to be as a means of protecting the tribe he created during The Book of Boba Fett season 1.

While attending the Supanova Comic-Con in Melbourne, Temuera made his feelings known about wanting to bring Captain Rex to live-action. He also said he’d love to bring all the clones to live-action. I say the more Temuera the merrier. Article below.

Star Wars: Temuera Morrison Wants To Star In A Captain Rex Spinoff

Star Wars: Temuera Morrison Wants To Star In A Captain Rex Spinoff

Temuera Morrison is ready to move beyond playing Boba Fett, Jango Fett, and every Clone Trooper in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. He’s got his sights on something a bit more refined and a lot more grizzled. If the New Zealand actor has his way, there could be a Captain Rex spinoff in the works one of these days.

While Morrison played the clones of Jango Fett in the Star Wars movies, the infinite role went to voice actor Dee Bradley Baker when the stories moved to animation for the series The Clone Wars and others. This included the character of Captain Rex, a clone who managed to get past the impulsive programming of Order 66 and retain his ability to think freely. The character appeared prominently in The Clone Wars and later appeared as a much older version in Star Wars Rebels, still voiced by Baker. But he still hasn’t made his live-action debut, and Morrison sees that as an opportunity.

In an interview with Dexerto at Supanova Comic-Con in Melbourne, Morrison shared his simple pitch. “I’d love to do a Captain Rex [project] of some kind, that would be cool,” he said when asked what other stories he’d like to help tell in the Star Wars universe. “Just to play one of the clones.” Morrison already appeared prominently as Boba Fett in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. But while there’s still plenty of room for more Boba action, something about the clones keeps him intrigued and willing to return.

“I enjoyed playing that broken-down Clone Trooper in Obi-Wan,” he continued with a chuckle, referring to his cameo as a homeless veteran Clone Trooper in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. “Credits please! That was fun, so something like that would be good, but we’ll see what happens with the powers that be.” The Star Wars clones shared a dark future after the events of The Clone Wars, and there’s a ton of storytelling potential there that would be wonderful to see with Morrison taking part. Sure, The Bad Batch has already explored that aspect of the clones’ tale, but it still has yet to get a proper live-action treatment.

There have been questions about whether Captain Rex will return for the Ahsoka series, particularly given the close camaraderie shared by the two characters in The Clone Wars. Seeing Morrison as the grizzled veteran on-screen would be a welcomed addition. But there have been no hints that he’s been cast in the series, and such things tend to leak. So as fun as that might be, it’s probably wise not to bet on it.

Still, it wouldn’t be the first time Star Wars has kept a perfect secret. Most were surprised to see Morrison make a guest appearance as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian season 2. That’s not even to mention the appearance of Jack Black and Lizzo in the series, which nobody saw coming. Morrison may have already played Rex in some secret way, making him fall in love with the character. So there’s always room for hope. That’s one theme Star Wars loves to explore, after all.

In a recent article, THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT showrunner and executive producer, Robert Rodriguez, has teased there might be a future for another chapter of the show. We all know Temuera wants to come back, but will this happen? Read the article below.

Robert Rodriguez teases a potential future for ‘The Book of Boba Fett’

2021’s The Book of Boba Fett doesn’t have a great reputation. The core concept of Fett taking over from Jabba the Hutt and becoming Tatooine’s newest mob boss has a ton of potential, though almost all of it was scuppered by a rushed production, unfocused storytelling, and some of the worst action scenes in the history of the franchise.

It’s telling that by far the best episodes of the show barely feature Fett at all, focus on Din Djarin and Grogu, and are essentially a sneaky The Mandalorian season 2.5.

But could The Book of Boba Fett ever return for a second season? Maybe the lessons of the past could be learned and we’d see him reclaim his position as the biggest badass in Star Wars? Heck, maybe for once we’d even see this crime lord commit some crimes! If there is a second season planned, showrunner Robert Rodriguez is keeping his lips sealed as he hinted in an interview with i09.

“I’m sworn to secrecy. I wish I could tell you. I know all the answers to what you’re asking, but I can’t say.”

It seems clear that Temuera Morrison will return as Fett at some point, likely in Dave Filoni’s theatrical movie announced at the Star Wars Celebration. Until then, Rodriguez is just happy to wax lyrical about how much fun it is to step behind the camera and shoot some Star Wars:

“Everything you saw every day… it didn’t feel like you were seeing behind the scenes. It felt so real. The sets were so real. Even the volume was so real that you felt like you were in Star Wars… You know, there’s these’s things called ‘Rock Camp’ that if you want to go play with [Aerosmith guitarist] Joe Perry or something, you pay money to get on stage for two seconds with him? This is what a director would pay money to do. To have Star Wars camp. To get to direct and edit and be part of the Star Wars universe just as an experience is one of my favorite experiences because it was just a dream come true.”

Rodriguez is a great director and should have knocked the dusty, vaguely Western-themed The Book of Boba Fett out of the park. We’re still confused that he fumbled the ball, so a second season where he could right some of these wrongs would be most welcome.

In the meantime, Temuera Morrison is still all over Star Wars, and happy to voice and play Clone Troopers wherever he can, so at least he isn’t going anywhere.

I usually don’t like to get political on my websites. I know how it can turn off some who prefer the fun of enjoying their favourite actor. I’m afraid I’m going to have to get a bit here. It concerns a recent appearance of Temuera at SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming convention in Melbourne, Australia where he expressed his feelings on not being asked to appear in THE MANDALORIAN season three when he was told he would. Given that Din Djarin and Grogu received two whole episodes of THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT to them with Boba having more or less a cameo in his own show, I would have hoped they’d have returned the favour in allowing Boba to appear in season three. Here is a bit more on what Tem had to say. What’s your take?

Star Wars: Boba Fett Actor Claims He Was Supposed to Return in The Mandalorian but “Nobody Rang”

With The Mandalorian’s Din Djarin becoming an integral component of Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, many audiences wondered if Boba Fett would appear in Season 3 of The Mandalorian, and while the figure never ended up appearing, Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison recently revealed that he was anticipating a return to the series. The actor didn’t confirm the extent to which he was anticipating a return, as he appeared in multiple episodes of Season 2 of The Mandalorian, so it’s unclear at what point in the development process it was teased that he would return before the series opted to avoid any appearance.

During an appearance at the SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming convention in Melbourne, Australia, per MSN, the actor admitted, “I was supposed to be in The Mandalorian Season 3 but nobody rang me. I was waiting for the phone call in New Zealand, waiting and wanting to give up.”

Boba Fett appeared in the final moments of the Season 2 premiere of The Mandalorian, while going on to be an important part of Djarin’s overall adventure in the season, and even earned a post-credits scene in the Season 2 finale for The Book of Boba Fett. While it wasn’t much of a surprise that Djarin then appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, some fans were disappointed that he earned so much screen time on a mission that was totally detached from Boba Fett. Morrison similarly joked about those deviations from his character’s story.

“Well that Mando guy stole a few chapters of my book,” the actor shared. “It was painful watching him turn up with some black new lethal sword. And the way he turned up in my Book of Boba, he just destroyed everybody. I’m sure this guy is… ah… ruining my show. But I couldn’t say anything. I’m not the writer, so I have to bear it I guess.”

In the time since The Book of Boba Fett debuted, audiences have wondered if we could get more episodes of the adventure, given how well it set up a number of exciting storytelling opportunities. There are currently no announced plans for a Season 2 and The Mandalorian similarly hasn’t been confirmed for a Season 4, though creator Jon Favreau has expressed his interest in such an opportunity. With a film from Dave Filoni set to bring together elements from The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka, we won’t be surprised if the project also brings Boba Fett into the fold.

Stay tuned for details on Boba Fett’s future in the franchise.
