On Friday we welcomed a number of our clients from Kainga Ora, Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and Waka Kotahi into the AECOM Auckland offices to hear from our Vice President of Urbanism and Planning Steven Duong, AICP Drawing on learnings from a number of cities in the United States, Steven shared a range of insights and approaches to help stretch our thinking on transport investment and transit orientated communities. Very relevant to some of our immediate challenges in Aotearoa and throughourly enjoyable.

Day two of T-Tech in Wellington has been buzzing with great discussions. AECOM has been sharing some of their amazing work, including a presentation from Werner Pretorius and Auckland Transport’s Pete Moth on unlocking the potential of Auckland Rapid Transit Network - this work is now out to consultation. Meanwhile, Geoff Prince covered the fast-tracked business case and transformational work done for Dunedin’s Retail Quarter to make it a safer and more enjoyable space.
