Pitt Community College is an institution where you can advance your educational and career ambitions. Pitt Community College has been a foundational part of my educational career. All though I am a new student entering Paralegal Studies, thus far I have received excellent advising, education, and a new community to engage with. Pitt Community College offers many organizations, athletics, and recreational clubs to be apart of which makes the experience even better. Thanks to Pitt Community College I can learn and grow new perspectives in a safe and immersive environment.

I attended Pitt Community College's nursing program in which I unfortunately did not pass. This program has an extremely low pass rate for the program which should have been my first sign. Most of my professors minus a select few did not offer support or help . Most would make you feel stupid if you got something wrong or if you asked a question. This is not how education should be set up but that is what you will get when attending this college. This program sets you up to fail!
I put in endless amount of studying to this program but tests were set up with material that was not taught in class. If you asked for support or advice on how to pass test you were referred to read the textbook. A text book should be an additional recourse and teachers should be providing most of the educational material. Numerous chapters from texts books were assigned for us to read in such a little amount of time. This is not how you retain information.

Pitt Community College is a great option for those looking to get a degree without having to compromise affordability. I was not able to receive financial aid because I had exhausted all of my undergrad aid at a 4 year university, but they offered me a payment plan as well as scholarship resources allowing me to pursue a new career path. They also offer flexible instruction for many that have other priorities outside of school. I would highly recommend.
