A witness said the twin-engine plane apparently struck utility power lines while its engines Mrs. Arnold, Of Elkhorn, Dies at Age 55 MONROE Mrs. Mary Rigney Arnold, 55, Elkhorn, formerly of Monroe died Monday (Oct.

19, 1970) in a Lake Geneva hospital after a long illness. The former Mary Rigney graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1938, then worked as a physical education director in Oshkosh Schools. From 1957 to 1960 she was a case worker for the Green County Welfare Department, and from 1961 to 1964 worked in Sturgeon Bay. She moved to Elkhorn in 1968. She was married June 27, 1943 to Frank Arnold in Salina, Kan.

He died in 1949. Surviving in Madison are a daughter, Miss Gail Arnold, 1339 Rutledge and a brother, Thomas, 1510 Fremont Ave. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Badger, New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Stauffa*gher, Browntown; and Miss Pauline Rigney, Denver, a brother, William, Carson City, and her mother, Mrs.

Gempeler, 51, rural Monticello, died unexpectedly Monday (Oct. 19, 1970) at his home. He married Ruth Murphy in 1941. He was a member of the Washington Reformation Church and the Yesteryear Auto Club. He was a retired farmer.

Bohri, 70, president of the First State Bank of Fountain City, died unexpectedly Tuesday (Oct. 20, 1970) in a Rochester, hospital. He had been president of the bank, which was organized by his father, since 1955. He was a native of Fountain City, Buffalo County. Mr.

Bohri married the Evelyn Kidney in 1924. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and an alumnus of Phi Kappa Theta. He was associated with two Milwaukee brokerage firms. He was the mayor of Fountain City from 1958 to 1968, and a city councilman. Surviving in Madison are two sisters, Ethel Bohri i and Olivia Bohri, both of 17 S.

Mike Sterr FOX LAKE Mike Sterr, 71, former owner and operator of a Beaver Dam tavern, died in a fire at his home on a Beaver Dam lake Monday (Oct. 19, 1970). Mr. Sterr, who lived alone, was found dead in the rubble of his cabin, which was by the blaze.

A retired Beaver Dam fireman, Erwin Brown, and two fishing companions, Louis Kummer and Roy Vick, were the first to notice the fire at 1:15 p.m. as they were preparing to leave the lake. Brown said they immediately rushed across the lake, but the structure was completely ablaze as they arrived at the scene. Intense heat and smoke prevented them from entering the cabin. Miss McKusick formerly was correspondent for The Wisconsin State Journal. She was a graduate of the Journalism School of the University of Missouri, and worked for newspapers in Chester, and Wilmington, before coming to Washington in 1948.

Miss McKusick was a native of Vermillion, S.D., where she will be buried. She was the daughter of the late Marshall McKusick, who had been a dean of the Law School at the University of South Dakota. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Alice Bates McKusick, Vermillion. Mrs.

Amanda Anderson WATERTOWN Mrs. Amanda Mae Anderson, 82 formerly of Watertown, died Monday (Oct. 19, 1970) in Manitowoc after a long illness. The former Amanda Mae Hagedorn was married to Ralph Anderson in 1908. He died in 1935.

WSA Rally Set On Dorm Rules at The Wisconsin Student Association Tuesday continued to seek support for a test of visitation rules established by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. WSA Vice President Andy Himes told about 150 students that a rally would be held next week to plan a "mass" protest against the tighter rules.

The new rules limit visits by members of the opposite sex to dorm rooms to noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 10:30 p.m. on Sundays. Individual dorms may provide stricter rules. The September producer price, announced by Associated Milk Producers, is a net increase of 11 cents over the August blend and also is 11 cents higher than the September producer price a year ago. The amended order designates Zone 1 as the area within 40 miles from Chicago City Hall. Prior to Sept. 1, Zone was the territory within 85 miles of the city hall and included Milwaukee County a and Winnebago County, (Rockford) Ill. This area is now divided into four zones.

The $5.36 price for September deliveries applies to milk of 3.5 per cent butterfat content and is a blend of the September order Class I (bottling) price of $5.87 per hundredweight and $4.66 per hundredweight for Class II milk (milk used for purposes other than bottling). The market order blend price paid Chicago regional market producers is reduced two cents per hundredweight for each 15 miles beyond Zone 1. Dane County sheriffs deputies, will receive pay increases ranging from $25 to $75 per month as the result of a contract agreement reached by the County Personnel Committee and Teamsters Local 695. The original pay request for the 133 officers was for hikes of $75 to $150 per month. The contract calls for a 7 per cent pay and fringe increase. It will be included in the salary budget which will be sent to the County Board for approval.
